CRM

CRM is where an enquiry becomes money. The sidebar splits it into Leads, Deals, Quotes, Contacts, Companies, Goals, Message Templates and Analytics.

Leads and deals

A lead is an enquiry you haven't qualified yet. A deal is an opportunity you're working, sitting in a stage of your pipeline. Keeping them apart stops unqualified noise from inflating your forecast.

Converting a lead creates the deal and, if you want, the contact and company alongside it. Nothing is retyped and the history follows.

The lead list has search, filters and columns you can choose, so you can set it up the way you actually work and leave it that way. Leads you've finished with can be archived, which takes them out of the list without deleting anything.

The pipeline board

CRM → Deals is a drag-and-drop board. Moving a card changes the stage and logs the move. Those logged moves are what the stage-velocity and sales-cycle charts in Analytics are built from, so dragging cards honestly is worth the discipline.

A deal carries its value, close date, owner, source and the contact it belongs to. The detail page keeps the activity history, quotes, tasks, documents and products in tabs.

Contacts and companies

Contacts are people. Companies are businesses. A person can belong to a company, and either can carry the billing details that print on a quote or invoice: address, tax number, payment terms.

You don't have to create the contact first. On a deal, quote or invoice, the pickers let you type a name and create it on the spot.

Finance → Customers is the same address book seen from the money side, with balances and terms.

Quotes

Quotes appear under both CRM and Finance. They're the same records reached from wherever you're working. Your logo, brand colour and company details are applied automatically, and line items pull from Finance → Products.

  1. Create it

Start from the Quotes list, or from the deal so it stays attached. Add line items with quantity, price, discount and tax. Tax splits itself correctly from your GST state and the customer's.

  2. Get it approved, if your workspace asks for that

Send it for approval and it goes to your manager, who approves or rejects it with a note. Both of you are notified. The customer-facing send is held back until that's done.

  3. Send it

Email it to the customer, or mark it as sent if you sent it yourself. You can also download it as a PDF. The customer can approve or reject it from their own link.

  4. Re-quote as a version

Changed your price? Create a new version rather than a second quote. It keeps the same number, adds a version, and records what changed. The list shows only the current version of each chain, and opening an old one tells you it's a past revision.

  5. Convert it

An approved quote becomes an invoice in one step, carrying the lines, tax treatment and customer across. From the deal itself, you can also create the project you'll deliver.

Working a record

Open a lead or deal and the Activity tab is where the work happens. The row of quick actions calls, WhatsApps, texts or emails the contact, then offers to log what happened when you come back. You can also log a note or a meeting yourself.

  • Next steps are tasks. The one-line composer at the top takes a task and a due date in a tap: in an hour, this afternoon, tomorrow, next week. Everything assigned to you across the workspace collects in Projects → My Tasks, and you're reminded on the day.
  • The timelinefilters by calls, emails, notes, meetings and tasks, and it's searchable. Logging activity also feeds the record's score.
  • Discussion is the internal thread on the record. Type @ to mention a teammate and they get notified. This is part of deal collaboration, included from Growth.
  • Message Templateskeep your common replies in one place instead of in everyone's head.

Capturing leads automatically

Enquiries can arrive without anyone typing them in.

  • Forms. Build one in Forms and embed it on your site. Submissions become leads. You can brand each form with your logo and colours.
  • Meta Lead Ads. Connect your Facebook or Instagram page and lead-ad submissions arrive directly.
  • IndiaMART. Enquiries from your Lead Manager arrive every few minutes. Needs a paid IndiaMART seller subscription.
  • Inbound email. Forward your enquiries mailbox to an address we give you and the messages become leads.
  • Website Agents. An AI agent trained on your own site greets visitors, qualifies them and files a scored lead. Switched on per workspace.

All of them run through the same path, so an automation that fires on a new lead fires for every one of them whatever the source.

Moving from another system in bulk? Use Data Import instead.

Analytics

CRM → Analyticsis a board of widgets you arrange yourself. Hit Customize to add, remove, resize or drag them, and Done when you're happy. The layout is yours alone, so changing it doesn't disturb anyone else.

There are two dozen widgets across pipeline, conversion, activity, team and goals: the conversion funnel, win and loss, lead source effectiveness, stage velocity, sales cycle, forecast, pipeline coverage, response time to a new lead, follow-up backlog and quota pacing among them.

Above the board, the view selector switches between the company, your team, yourself or a named person, within whatever your role allows. Alongside it sit the period, a compare toggle for the period before, whether dates mean created or closed, and a CSV export.

Targets come from CRM → Goals, which is what quota pacing measures against.

Who sees what

Most members see the deals they own plus any they've been added to. Managers see their team's. Owners, admins and leaders see the company's.

Adding a colleague as a collaboratoron a lead or deal gives them sight of it, and edit rights if you grant them, without changing who owns it. The owner keeps the credit in reporting. Lists let you switch between what's yours, what's shared with you, and everything you're allowed to see.
