Overview

OSLO runs your sales, money, delivery and team in one workspace. This guide walks through each part of it: what the screens do, what the words mean, and the order to do things in.

Start here

If the workspace is new, read Getting started first. It covers the setup that everything else depends on: your company details, your team, and the way access works.

If someone has already set things up and you just got an invite, skim the same page for the tour of the dashboard, then jump to the module you work in.

The modules

Each module is a section of the sidebar. You'll only see the ones your workspace has and your role can open.

How the pieces fit

The modules share one set of records, so the same customer, person and amount follow the work through. A typical path looks like this.

  • An enquiry arrives as a lead in CRM. You qualify it and convert it, which creates the deal and, if you want, the contact and company with it.
  • You send a quote from the deal. Re-quoting makes a new version in the same chain, so the history of what you offered stays readable.
  • A won quote converts to an invoice in Finance, carrying the lines, the tax treatment and the customer across.
  • A won deal can become a project, so what you sold and what you deliver stay linked.
  • If the work happens at a customer's site, Field Service schedules it as a job and captures the sign-off on the spot.

People sits alongside the rest. It holds employee records, leave and payslips, and is kept deliberately separate from your customer data.

What you'll see

Two different things decide whether a module is in your sidebar.

  • What your workspace has. CRM, Projects and Finance are on from the start. People, Field Service, Agreements, Assets, Automation, the Client Portal and Website Agents are switched on per workspace.
  • What your role can open. An admin grants module access per member in Settings → Members, and your role decides whose records you see inside it.

If a module is missing and you expected it, ask your workspace admin first. They can see both of the above. Roles and access explains the rules in full.

Help inside the app

OSLO has its own Help centre, and it's the faster route once you're logged in. Search it for the screen you're on, and raise a support ticket from the same place if the answer isn't there. You can see your own tickets and follow the replies in Help.

Open OSLO to get to it.
